The Project : The factory building of Astral Polytechniks Ltd. needed proper ventilation with plenty of flow of fresh air, which would require least possible artificial lighting. Apart from that, the focus was on improving the drainage system to prevent blockages, leakages and minimize maintenance. Tata Structura hollow sections provided the perfect solution to the design requirements and met the client's exacting brief.

Background to the Project : To set up a state-of-the-art Coal Washery for supply of washed coal with approx 54% ash content, to APGEMCO ( Andhra Pradesh Power Generating Company ). The coal will be used in their power plants.
The installed capacity of the Coal Washery Is 11 million tonnes per annum of washed coal. Around 1200 MT of steel has been used In the project and the total quantity of steel hollow sections used Is 1000 MT.

The Project : The KH5 Machineries Ltd factory building at Hirapur, Ahmedabad exhibits many innovations in terms of structure and architecture. Over 600 tonnes of weather-resistant Tata Structura steel box hollow sections have given this structure a rare grandeur.
The four sheds at the factory building span 27 meter span and a height of 16 meters. The 20 ton crane inside the factory site on the cantilever columns of almost 7 meter high, which is free from the main steel portal. This unique design separates vertical sheeting and windows from any vibrations of the crane. The glazed gable end and windows at the crest of the porta make It energy efficient.
Steel hollow sections with copper content have been used here for the first time In India.

Background to the Project : The roof of the industrial building for Nordson India Put. Ltd. needed to be both strong and sleek at the same time. There had to be detailing in joints and trusses which were required to support one crane of 2 tonnes or two cranes of 1 ton capacity. Roofing sheets had to be supported as well.
Tata Structura provided the perfect solution to the client's exacting requirements.

The Project : Tata Structura hollow sections were widely used in construction of the Taloja warehouse at the pre-englneerlng stage. There was no fabrication at all on the site. All the members were fabricated at a workshop, avoiding welding at site. The warehouse is a totally bolted structure where each element has contributed to the overall economy, helping to save time and money.
