The construction of the pyramid on the top floor of Beau Monde was a tremendous challenge, beginning with the task of carting the steel hollow sections right up to the 40th floor.
Being a very sensitive structure, the deflection had to be kept at the minimal level. To meet the requirements, the project demanded high tensile rectangular sections. That is where Tata Structure steel hollow sections met the challenge. The sections provided the strength, flexibility and aesthetics to meet exacting demands to make the Impossible, possible.

The Project : The building of Swatl Is the first steel structure building with space frames In all the floors, No brickwork has been used in the construction of the building. The facade is of matte colour puff panels and the steel used has polyurethane foam coating.
The unique concept with minimal usage of concrete has been designed for earthquake resistance and energy efficiency. Owing to a lower dead load of the structure, Swatl, In the days of its construction, survived the terrible earthquake of Gujarat.
Swatl exhibits myriad possibilities that steel can offer. It lends flexibility and strength to the construction. Overall, a steel building like this Is 80% lighter than a concrete building.
